I was requested to design a mascot for the Rabbits of Quebec, a hockey team. Their mascot is a rabbit so the gaol was to create a tough rabbit.

I started by finding reference photos so I have a good idea of what a rabbit actually looks like.

after finding the reference photos I sketched out  simple stylized rabbit to lay down the general shapes. after I made a rough sketch and have an idea of how it looks, I begin to refine the design and add some details. After a few more sketches I start adding color, and shading

After the coloring is done I can add typography and any remaining details. After I chose my type face I added details and shading. Then I added the text to the mascot and joined them by adding an upper body that interacts with the text.
